took a quick trip with the girlfriend to a spot over in long island city called 5 pointz. for those not familiar with the area, 5 pointz is a building that used to be an apartment complex but was shut down. it's now home to studios for a bunch of artists.

the outside of the building is covered in art and graffiti done by local and not so local artists, and only by permit. i met and spoke with the owner and he was an awesome dude, let us take our bikes around the whole place snapping pictures. he even invited me back to have my bike professionally shot in the middle of his new wall piece (last picture, the one with no bike in it).

this is the piece he wants my bike in...

it looks a little off because of where i shot it from...as you move to the right of where i took the picture, the whole scene shifts and lines up and makes for a cool 3D effect.

the floor is going to have the rest of the dude's arm on it, with the light from that lamp shining down on his hand, and thats where he wants to put my bike and have it shot.

pretty impressive **** with spray paint.
