New Progressive's squeak
 

I put on new Progressive 412's last night on my 08 Road King,replacing the stock air shocks. The new shocks squeak pretty loud. Will this go away in time, or is there something that's supposed to be greased? Kind of annoying. Thanks

New shocks and under warranty? They shouldn't squeak and I would think the Progressive will take care of it. Let us know how it works out.

Sounds like maybe you didn't get them aligned properly , a little toe in or out top or bottom ? They will make a bit of squeaking bouncing on them stationary but not much and none you'll hear riding if done right .

I called Progressive. They said to hold the top of the cup and turn the spring 1/4 to 1/2 turn to give it more clearance. Apparently thr spring was rubbing against the cup. That did the trick. An easy fix. Now off to Street Vibrations Friday.

Same thing happened on my 412 Progressive shocks. Turned the cap slightly and it stopped squeaking.
