Some wrecked bike sites or basket case's?

You said you didn't want to wade through tons of ads but if you hit the first page of the motorcycle section of Craigslist everyday you will eventually find what you want. It may take awhile though. I've been surprised at the Harley parts for sale in my area. Saw a Mustang solo seat that would fit my Road King the other day. Tempting for $100.

there is a site that a dealer friend turned me on to...it's called Copart.com. there are tons of salvaged bikes, used foreclosed bikes with no damage, and some with just minor cosmetic damage from laying it down. I bought a wrecked softtail using my friend's dealer license, fixed it up nice and sold it off.

I just bought a salvage bike from this guy, Terry. A nice guy and he was honest with me about what he knew and what he didn't. An 07 Ultra, heated grips, 96ci, drivers back rest, stage 1 kit, it had been down but not wrecked, just scraped up, bag latches broke, fairing scratched. I got a good deal and I can fix the stuff as I can afford it and drive it too.http://iowabikesource.com/bikeshomepage.jsp
