I always figured Mikey was the 'brains' to their success on TV.

They are ARTEESTS!!! Bikes are just the canvas they use to tell the story of man's inhumanity to man, the eternal struggle between good and evil... Oh, and to make a buck.

To me there not real bike builders. Anyone can bolt on chrome and send tins off to be painted.

I agree with the premise of the article.

These guys *assemble* bikes. Ugly, heavy, gaudy monstrosities of bikes that may look very cool parked in front of a bar, but can't be much fun to actually ride.
