Default Nightster Bobber Headlight??

Hey Everybody,

I was wondering if anyone had some helpful information on replacing the Stock Nightster Headlight with a 5 3/4" Bobber Style Headlight.

-I'm wondering if anyone has this style light and if it is less bright than the stock one?

-Also if I should buy the custom install bracket through JPCycles or if I can make a custom bracket easy enough?

-Lastly, if it is difficult to hide the wires behind the light to make it look clean and organized?

Any information would be great. Thanks!

-Tim

Pics? Not exactly sure what style headlight you mean, but I think the Nightster unit is similar to the one on the Street Bob. Depending which headlight you end up with you may or may not need another mount so take it one step at a time.

I've attached a large pic of the bobber style headlight in my first post of the thread and I labeled it "The Bobber Style Headlight That I Want", so I'm not sure why your requesting a pic and saying that you're not sure what style headlight I mean Nevil?

I did the same when I converted my old 1200 to a bottom mount headlight.

WARNING: the top mounted Sportster headlights have a bunch of wiring hidden in the headlight shell and you are going to have figure out what to do with it if you switch to another style of headlight. I hid it all in a Sportster Custom "smuggler" box riser. On your bioke, I don't know - you may be able to get it into the new headlight shell...or not. You might have to replace some wiring and connectors. Might want to decide how/if you can do that before you start changing headlights.
