Volar Motorsport Kevlar Carbon Brake Pads?

Anyone every heard of these pads? Volar Motorsport Kevlar Carbon Brake Pads?

I'm considering using these because of my low budget. They are about $15 a pair.

Thanks.

I dont/wouldn't go cheap on pads. (Nor do I on Tires)

I just put on Lyndall's this summer, @$100 for both front and back ain't bad. Indy install'ed them for $40.

Very little dust at all. Can't say but there claim is they will last longer. So far love them.

pay-me now or pay me later kind of thinking to me...

Kevlar brakes

I've had the Kevlar brakes on both back and front, on my 2009 Road King all spring with no problems..Perform at least as well as stock Brake pads..Don't mind changing them more often at the price either...

No but I'm starting to think about pads and rotors so I'll be watching this thread. Also, welcome to the forum.

it depends upon what you expect from the brakes. You will experience fade with cheap pads and you might lose them altogether maybe going downhill with a passenger and bags

Scary thought. Do you have anything specific to back this up? D2moto is a sponsor of this forum, and if you are going to take shots like this at their stuff then we (and D2moto) deserve some details. I've bought some of their other stuff and had no problems at all.

Mostly I'd just like to get back to kelton3's original question and not get cut off like this by one guy who is obviously a competitor.

You state that you don't want to go cheap on pads, but why are you buying aftermarket pads? Wouldn't you want to put the same OEM spec pad on the bike?

Just a thought

Here is a feedback from one of the HD forum's member who purchased Volar Kevlar Brake pads:

Hi, read that carbon kevlar are good. They just don't cool down as quickly as oem. Anyone ever use these from e-bay. They seem identical to Volar pads. See link below.

3 sets for the price of one oem set

Thanks
