Do carbs sound better than EFI?
A mate commented that he loved the 'almost stopping but doesn't' potato potato of my late carbed Sporty. I wonder if this is true of all HD's and the real, genuine Harley sound is a result of the often criticised old school bikes. Easier to live with, it may be, but I have a feeling EFI might have been a step in the wrong direction. Am I mistaken in this conclusion, guys?

Carburetors especially on cold start up with choke engaged polute our environment that is well documented to cause global warming! EFI helps reduce pollution and keeps are our air cleaner definetly not a step in the wrong direction as you put it.

Perhaps it would have been better for the environment if motorcycles had never been invented in the first place!

Carbs will allow you to slow the motor down to 'potato potato' which is one of the worst things you can do to a lightweight flywheel bike llike a TwinCam.
Fuel Injection doesn't let you do that, ( for a very good reason.)
