HD ban on internet sales halted

just to illustrate...a Harley leather jacket that easily can be bought from the dealer for around $325 (USD) can be had here in Brazil for $685 (USD)....same jacket...
a T-shirt (which are all made by R.K. Stratman) goes for $80 (USD)...
so one can imagine how costly the parts & clothing are to us...even though there's an assembly line at the free trade zone, the sidestep for the import tariffs are just for the motorcycles (even though the motorcycles are still costly....an 883 Iron goes for $14.735 - USD)

i just don't understand
MoCo got their price for the parts when the dealer bought them, what the hell does it matter to them?
a dealer has the right to set his price to the level of profit he needs and is willing to take.....or not
if the dealer moves more product, the MOCO sells more parts
the dealer is the one taking the hit

i guess i'm just totally misinformed. when i read the comments at the end of the articles, it is always talking about the 'little guy' (consumer) not being able to order online for some type of discount. but everything that i've been reading about it only seems to limit consumers from overseas (or canada) from buying stateside (and reducing the locals parts sales), or from selling on amazon or ebay. i haven't heard or seen anything that would prohibit me from ordering from one of the online discounters. and in fact, i have been continually ordering my parts at discount. nothing has changed for me at all. i never could find anything on ebay for a halfway decent price anyway.....
i also read a lot about 'selling outside dealer territory', but have not read any official moco information that says this. i have only heard this third or fourth hand. and again, if that were the case, how am i still getting my parts at discount when where i order from is way outside my local 'territory'?
everyone keeps shouting 'moco greed', when from what i understand, the moco is only reacting to what a lot of the dealers want. they aren't just making **** up at random.....
guess i'm just confused
