It is cold in Florida right now and likely getting colder but I am still riding, a good thing.
Ugly you bet, but you have no idea until you try these how much the wind is cut on the lower legs and body, big difference in comfort.
Should have bought these sooner!
My new Elephant Ears straight from the HD dealer to the bike.
I have been thinking of getting some of these, yea they are ugly though, but it's nice to be able to take them off and put them in the bags when not needed.
If they help that much, maybe I'll just get some.
Thanks for posting!
I've been seriously thinking about getting a set of those too. Wanna see ugly? Here's my solution to cold hands. They really block the wind though and I can comfortably ride when the temps are in the teens.
I have the best solution to the cold........TAKE THE DAMN CAR!
Why do y'all feel like you just "gotta ride" in the cold when it is damn uncomfortable to do so? I'm 58. Ridin' (or anything) at my age hasta be fun, or I ain't gonna do it. And it ain't fun if you're all wrapped up like Nanook of the North freezin' your bag off with all kindsa electric crap & all. To me, it's only fun when it's sunny, warm & I'm in a t-shirt or light jacket. And chicks are walkin' around in shorts & tank tops.

I'm 53 years old, and been without a Harley for 30 years. I'm riding all I can to make up for it. No telling how many more rides I can get in before I can't ride anymore. So I'm making the most of what I have. The cold is usually only "cold" in the mornings for me. Usually in the low to mid 50s when I get off work. So in order to ride after work, I ride to work.
At my age, I'm gonna "enjoy" every moment I have left on this earth, and that includes riding whenever possible.
It's not quite that bad but we are spoiled. I've been down here since 1972, I just can't deal too well with the cold anymore. Tomorrow night it's supposed to go down into the 30's. Yikes.
