When I called them (Andews TecH line) they didn't say there where better, just that he said in their test they liked the INA's better now that they are bigger for the 96'ers and with the HYD tensioners there is a lot less pressure on them.

Bottom line is most ole school thought still lean to the torringtons...

Also I called the five dealers around here and all but one still use the INA's in the 96er's when doing cam jobs..

Its not the issue it used to be, at least so I've been told and I don't know of know anyone personally that's had any probs with the INA's.

Only 1 motor 88''er that I have seen at the dealer that had cam bearing probs and that one that the wrench said the way it was ridden and taken care of it prob would not have made a Diff..

For peace of mind just install the New SE bearings and U'll be fine
Too many guys just don't believe the simple fact that the INA 1" bearing has tested out better than the 1" full comp in Andrews testing, I guess they think they know more than Andrews does.

The IPB failure was caused by no alignment dowels in the trans and inner primary cases...not the bearing. It is a misalignment issue.

OK....the bearing still failed though and that is what was replaced...the plastic holding the inner and outer part was crap....Not arguing the fact that the dowel alignment was no good, just the fact that the bearing was cheap...this is what my HD mechanic told me...he had replaced countless...
All that to say that MOCO saves a penny here and penny there....still raises the price of the bike. they could make it more reliable with better components.

That just about wrap's it up..

The Andrews rep/tech did tell me that their test showed the new bigger INA cam bearings for the 96 proved to be better overall and why they sell them with there cam kits. Its also the bearings I had put in with the Andrews cams.
