I have Torringtons and they seem to be doing their job fine so far. Outer bearings? There are none in Twinkie motors that you need to worry about. But depending on the year (all 88 inchers, I believe), you may need to have the cams pressed into the cam plate.

If you are opening up the cam chest replace the inners with Torrington B148 bearings. The stock are INA and they are junk. Don't know about the SE.

I might be a little confused about bearing companies/manufacturers. I know Torrington b148/168 is the way to go depending on model year. That's what I bought. Says Torrington right on the box. Also says Koyo, which has apparently recently acquired Timken. Who's who and what's what?

Screamin' Eagle Pro Racing Parts catalog, Screamin' Eagle High Performance Inner Cam Bearings.
Has "Torrington" stamped right on the bearings bigger than Stuttgart.

Yes. SE's are the Torrington's (says Torrington right on them). SE, Torrington, Timken, Koyo..............make sure they are full compliment and B148 for TC88 or B168 for TC96
