I got a 2 year warranty on a used bike for financing through Harley and they match my credit union rate.

With 10% down and no trade my son got the 3.99 HD loan last October when he went with me to pick up my 12 Road Glide. When I came out he was making the deal on a Ultra Classic. $750 off MSRP, 1K service free and a trunk luggage rack and windspliter windshield.

He paid it off this month. Doesn't like payments and some investments just freed up.

Those who are posting sub 3% rates with their Credit Union, can you please post the Credit Unions names. Thanks.

do the math,
20,000 @ 4%, 5 years = 2,100 interest, just over 400 per year.
20,000 @ 3%, 5 years = 1,550 interest, just over 300 per year.

not really an issue???

Andrews Federal Credit Union is who I go through... They have been very good to me and gave me a decent rate. (5.1%)

What do they do when they suffer a cut in pay or job loss? That dream of owning a harley becomes a pain in the ***.

There is always one jerk off in this forum that has to be the one that says I DONT FINANCE MY TOYS. No one F#CKING ASKED YOU and your retarded opinion. If you dont have any advice for the OP about financing then don't post.

post *****

Finance rates are retarded low. I remember paying 12% on my first car with little credit. As my credit got better I paid about 8-9% on a bike. With rates as low as 3% anywhere you go dealer or not, that is still a good rate. Like myself, you probably dont want to wait until your in retirement age to purchase a bike outright.

Why would I plunk down cash while I can make my money work for me by investing?

Then "they" probably say..."I'm glad I financed instead of emptying my savings account, I might need that $20,000 for something more important, like keeping my house."

I just got 4% on a five year loan, HD wanted some crazy a$$ rate, not sure why. My credit is descent.... Hope you get a good loan.... Oh, if worried about job security or getting hurt most banks have the option to buy hardship protection.
