bike availability

has anyone noticed a change in the availability of bikes on the used market? maybe due to Spring weather coming or maybe not. thx.

You see more used bikes in Spring and in Fall. Usually people are either riding them in the Summer one last season before they sell them.

They don't get sold often in Winter because its a pain to take them out of storage and you don't want to leave it on the front lawn on display in the snow.

not really, there are tons all time of the year on craigslist as well as at dealerships. but this is the south.. so that probably matters.

Lots more bike showing up here in MN on CL. Lots of folks hold on to 'em because they don't want to take a beating on them in late fall. Of course that's when I'm in the the market...I stole my '01 Wide Glide last fall

I know the local dealer around here takes most of there used bikes off of the show floor in the winter months. Like DaveCarlson said, they dont want to take a loss.
