Lucas Oil Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner
Has anybody used Lucas Oil Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner in a harley? After being parked a lot during the winner, I like to pour some Seafoam in the gas a few times to clean things up and getting it starting and running a little smoother. But I put some Lucas Fuel System Cleaner in my fuel injected Nissan Titan and it seems to have started helping the idle and throttle response, so I was thinking about trying it in my Softail and my wife;'s Sportster.
Anybody know of any likely harm from using this stuff in a carb'ed Harley? |

Over 100,000 miles and never put in any additives and the bike still runs just fine.
I think we spend money on stuff that we think makes our stuff run better, ( that's what marketers do,) but in reality it just makes us feel better. Our bikes/cars couldn't care less. |

Did you put some sort of fuel stabilizer in it before winter storage? If so, I wouldn't think you would need anything else. I also think if it makes you feel better, it won't hurt anything.

Ethanol in the fuel keeps everything pretty clean but if it makes you feel better I'm sure it won't hurt
