RE: Boss Hoss
Went to the Dealer here in So. Cal. Very impressive machine. Sales guy was telling us that many women have bought them.

RE: Boss Hoss
have seen quite a few and will do the factory tour sometime soon they are only about 30mins away from me...they have a huge rally every year also....
hard to believe they come from a small hick town of less than 30k people in TN huh.... |
RE: Boss Hoss
yep...rode one...had a 350 in it...tranny is a powerglide with a reverse...it was big...almost intimidating...actually rode very well with gobs of power and the sound was the best ever...my company repo'd one and i rode it for about 1000 miles....i was doin a burnout(lots of smoke) and got to thinkin about when it hooked if i could handle it...as i rolled off the throttle it did and i did, but barely...for me it'd be abit much just bc of the width and weight

RE: Boss Hoss
it will smoke em as long as you want....but it has a reverse
ORIGINAL: mcb I heard if you have enough brass between the legs they will smoke the rear tire for a good 1/8 mile! Never rode one, but have been around them a couple times. The reverse gear is a plus for a vehicle of that weight, guy said it was almost impossible to back it out if there was a little uphill grade. |
RE: Boss Hoss
little too big for my taste... but to each his own.

RE: Boss Hoss
I agree.
ORIGINAL: vegashd I think they are ugly, ridiculous and a waste. I have seen a few and know a guy who had one. I just did nto see the novelty. |
RE: Boss Hoss
Road one at Daytona last year. They had demo rides setup by the raceway. What a monster of a machine but not fun to ride on any curve. Straight line is a blast but leaning it over makes you wonder!!!
