Ive been reading about some of the lobbying that ABATE is involved in with motorcycle safety across the U.S.
I was thinking of checking out a local chapters meeting for the hell of it.
Any ABATE members here and what's it all about at the local level?

 

Differs state to state, but in Iowa they do a good job protecting our rights. Plus they throw a hell of a 4th of July party.

Join ABATE. It is a good organization and one of the very few lobbying for the rights of bikers.

A great organization,here they are the only ones fighting for our rights.

 

Check them out,

Good people that are willing to go to the state house and talk with the
rebs. We have stopped quite a few bills and had rebs draw up a few for us.
Nothing like a bunch of leather clad bikers roaming the halls.

If nothing else just join them, your membership funds go to a good cause,
might as well take a look at MRF on the federal level.

 

ABATE does good things.

We got the handlebar height statute changed, got motorcycle warning signs mandatory in construction zones, helped the Defenders get the anti-profiling law enacted, and have our Black Thursday at the state capitol.

It's full of good people and they have a passion for riding.

I didn't stop there- I also belong to more rights groups.

I definitely recommend joining ABATE and becoming active.
