I just paid $7000.00 for my 85 FXST and then dumped another 1500 in it right away to make it the way I wanted it.. I was told that it's a rare Bike and a outcast year.. First year Evo, Last year Kicker, Solid mounted motor and it's just a bad *** machine. It was an experimental year for HD coming out with new models and the new Evo... I love mine and would buy yours if I had the dough.. Got any pics?

I would suggest that 7k is probably close to market value. Loos like a very nicely maintained bike.

Do you have the original parts? From the looks and what you have listed it is not too far from stock. Sometimes that is worth more to a potential buyer.

The low milage you have is a definite plus and may add some value as well.

Super nice bike. I'd start it at $7k but I'm afraid you'll be looking for a collector. As a rider you can get a lot of bike for $7k these days, I wouldn't take less than $6k if it were mine.

Good luck!

I see them occasionally low has been $4500 highs around $7500 average with a spit shine and too much bling just depends on going prices in your area , start watching Craigslist to get a feel for the market around you .
