I had issues with the buffeting I kept changing shields and hand tests ect. I got the LRS stealth shield did the hand test and found that the air is coming up from under the tank and sides.
The issue was my glasses would shake obscuring my vision.
I saw the lower triple tree add-on that claimed to stop buffeting. Read the boards very mixed mostly bad reviews.
I have to say it is the best 25bucks I spent. It does cure the issue I had with my glasses up too 90ish after that I get a little buffeting.
Only negitive thing is the bike doesnt seem as stable as it was at higher speeds (keep in mind my speeds are prob more extream then some) ..
Going to do more riding, it could have been the road or more windy then I thought. Stupid dragonfly fairing acts like a sail
Still for 25bucks if you have buffeting I say it is worth the try..
I have the triple tree wind deflector and the fork mounted deflectors and that cured the wind buffeting issues on my Road King when using the windshield.
I've been using both deflectors on all of our bikes when possible.
The (fangs) won't work on my Ultra because I have the chrome lights on my lower forks with the chrome rotor covers but I do have the chome baffle on the center and it helps a lot.
For me, the fork baffle greatly reduced the air coming over the tank up into the face.
The lower deflectors help push the air out to the side.
Really noticable in the winter, but I still have 'em on.
