Default Muffler Baffels

Just wondering, I have a 09 Heritage-I was thinking of taking out the baffels from the exhaust pipe vs buying a new set of staight pipes. Would it be much louder, any extra power, what do you think?

buy some slip on's or a full system dude unless your doing drag races straight pipes are both annoying and kill your low and mid range torque band also screws with your a/f ratio beyond what your tuiner can acomodate for

Thanks NSCoyote, leaning towards a good set of slip ons.

I have decided to get a pair of slip ons for my 09 Heritage. Just wondering what is a good set to look for that is real loud?

Why do they have to be "real loud". I have a set of Vance & Hines 3" slip ons that sound great--to me and my neighbors. Real loud gets old real fast.

Had a 4 into 1 Bassani on a Kawasaki LTD1000 many moons ago. Took the baffle out of it. Me and the GF took a short ride and when we were done she was deaf in her right ear. Took a few hours to get back to normal. Got to where I couldn't take it anymore and back in the baffle went.

The older Screaming Eagles "not for highway use" sounds great and are cheap on ebay.

So try to explain to me why being 'real loud' holds particular importance to you. I would like to know your insightful and well thought out reasons for this decision.
Really I would.

I'm serious.
