Default Fan issue

I added a fan to my Ultra Classic to help cool the motor and I keep breaking the rubber mounts that hold it on. WOndering if anyone else is having the same issues. The clips are only $5 each but it is extremely annoying and time consuming to keep changing them.

Thanks.

If you have mounted the parade fan, I believe this is a common problem, and that it really is not made for daily use. Saw this in here somewhere a while back.

I have the parade fan and have broken one of the rubber mounts. I had to hold it in place till I could get it fixed with a piece of copper pipe and bolts. It was still under warentee and heading to the shop for the vr, so the dealer replaced the mount, no charge.

Have you thought of using aviation grade clips?

Smile fan issue

Thanks everyone for the replies. Yes, it is the parade fan. We ride out West and in the South periodically and I wanted to have help keeping the motor cooled. The parts guy at the dealer here said he only knows of one other person that had ordered the mounts once so he thought it sounded like they should last but my experience is they do not. I wiretied mine till I could get new ones ordered. The idea of aviation grade part is a good one I will check out. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
