I've made a lot of threads in the last few weeks about pipes. Thanks to all who have responded to point me in the right direction. Down to two pipes that will be on my bike. For awhile i wanted the thunderheader, ended up losing an Ebay auction for one actually. But now I've seen the Bassani Road Rage and damn that thing is sweet looking. Little pricey but really nice looking pipe and about the same as Thunderheader. My bike is a 2000 Dyna, Rev Perf 98in big bore kit 10.5/1 slugs, rev perf stage II heads, S&S 510G cams, Mikuni HSR 45 carb.

One pipe I already said was Thunderheader, $489.99 online +$150 for heat shields

The other is Bassani Road Rage P/N 1D12R for $600 with everything

So what does the power dif between these two gonna mean for me? And i know the Bassani has a fiberglass packed muffler. The main thing i wanna know is can i remove some of that packing and make it louder? or remove all of it?

Any info about these two pipes would help a ton. Thanks in advance....
