I lucked into a CL score on a J&S for $135 that worked great. I replaced the stock bottle jack with a Strongbow air over hydraulic bottle that I got on sale for I think $56.oo. So now for under $200 I have basically a $600 J&S air jack and I couldn't be happier. BTW. It didn't come with a T-handle so I made one, sort of.

For longer term projects I also have a Kendon lift that when not it use, stands in the corner like it ain't there.

you are making the right choice. love mine have the T bar and oil drain pan (free with the jack purchase) could not be happier. They also gave me a Vets discount and were able to use a shipper that was less expensive than Fed Ex saved another +$20 bucks there.

I've owned a Pitbull Lift for 14 years and it is just as awesome as the day I bought it. I store my bike on it in the garage when not riding it and never give a second thought for worry about it falling off. J&S makes a good jack but they weren't around back then.

I had the pitbull and sold it for the J&S as I moved and needed the smaller footprint of the J&S. Comparing the 2 if space isn't a problem the pit wins. The extra height is a big plus and its stable as can be. I don't agree with the youtube comparison video at all. They are both top notch!

I can tell you this. We tried the sears red Dyna mod on red jack. Did not work for 2014 Dyna. My advice is spend the money your bike is worth it.

Wow...
A many years later(and a few new bikes), thread revision I see and the jack is still holding strong.
