Alright. Went out to go for a ride yesterday and uncovered my bike and discovered cat hair and cat prints and scratches on my vivid black paint. I have one of those cycledome covers so I don't know how it got in there. Anyone know how to keep cats away. Can't get rid of the cat, daughters would cry for days if the cat went AWOL.

A few oranges or orange peelscattered in strategic places should do the trick.I have never, ever known a cat that likes oranges / orange peel.

An earlier thread on CATS around bikes seemed to end up: 1 person for a deterrent and 999 for wackin the cat.

Didn't realize there were so many ingenious & funnyways to smoke a cat. Our 26#er is too fat to get up there and the 17# is afraid to go in the garage.

Perhaps your daughter took the cat inside the dome to play house. Time for the third degree but don't expect a straight answer.

No offense to the cat lovers, but in my book, the only good cat is a dead cat. I would say get a dog, but my 85lb golden retriever is terrified of 10lb cats, so that's out.

Can't blame your dog for this. Have you ever picked up a 10 lb. tom cat that didn't want to be picked up?

A pan with some moth ***** keep cats, rats and...moths away. and yes they are very small but the moths do OK without them!
