That was #1 on my list. Best bang for the buck I could find.
I called them and they are out of stock for at least 3 weeks. There may be other dealers that have one in stock but damned if I found one yet.

Now I am looking at the Titan lift. That sucker raises 45" high, 1500lbs and comes with the extensions.

Paid $750.00 in 1999 for mine, kitted out the same way, 1500lbs
Still have it

I'll be damn! The dude doesn't even know what he has. I went and looked at it and while it is in decent shape, it is a 13 year old 1000lb Handy.

I have no idea how he thought it was a 1500lb. And he is stuck on $750. I told him I would give $450 just because that would be a good deal I think. But I really need and want a 1500lb capacity lift!

Anyway, thanks for the help and consider this thread DEAD!

Why do you "need" a #1500?? I have a Handy #1000 that lifts my 08 Ultra just fine.

Main reason is lift. There is no 1000lb lift that goes higher than 33".
The 1500lb lifts go from 38" to 45". I am 6'2" and like to work standing. I want higher lift and also the extra capacity.
They rate them @ 1000lb for a reason. And my bike is pushing that limit. You can max your lift out all you want, it will probably never fail but with a 1500lb, I believe you will get beefier construction, larger lift and greater lifting height.

That's why.

Eerything sold to us consumers, is sadly understated as to capacity. Manufacturers do that so as to aviod any lawsuits due to failure. I'm sure my #1000 will lift #1500 easily, but for liability purposes it has been rated at #1000. I can understand your wanting a taller lift.

Same one Snap-on sells around $3000 plus , would love to have one but keep in mind it's BIG takes up a lot of floor space . Be aware it is imported , the low end Black Widow lifts are the same as Harbor frieght's .
