Blackline 160 rear tire?

Can I put a 160 rear tire on a blackline?
Is it possible to put a 160 rear tire on a blackline without changing anything. Love the bike but only flaw is skinny rear

I know this is an old thread, and I have read through a bunch of other threads on here on this topic... looks like most have fitted a 150 on the back of their Blackline or Slim without much trouble, but has anyone bumped their rubber to the 160 on the stock rim? Just curious if it would scrub the fender... or are we maxed at the 150? I, like others, wouldn't mind putting some more fat on that back end, but not too much to take away from the look...

Honestly, a bigger back tire would greatly improve the looks. If I could, I'd slap a 240 on it or at least a 200, if there's such a thing.
What the heck is on it now? I've never looked.
And to me, when a thread is 2+ years old, THAT'S old.

Yup... A little thread CPR ChickinOnaChain The stock rubber is a 144... I think the trouble is that the Blackline wears either tire well... From the stock skinny to XJAYX's Heartland'd 260 dressed BL... That's why I can't make up my mind which I like better. All I know, is that I don't want to throw $3,000 at it right now.
Sorry XJAYX... Borrowed ur awesome pic .... Hope u don't mind...
I don't mind the skinny OEM tire, but to me it's supermodel skinny... I wouldn't mind for my bike to look like it's not affraid to eat the occasional sandwich ... 150 looks good on a Slim, but curious how a 160 would play with the stock setup... A budget beefing

Eh SpankDog... Any way your buddy would be willing to share what he did to make the 180 happen? I imagine at that size, it would involve new struts, widening of the stock or a new fender. New wheel?

Nooovie...that pic you posted, I like all of those tires. It just looks so cool to have a tire that size. Of course, you can get too wide, like a 300 sounds like it might be too much. 200 or 240 or whatever size might be enough for me.
When I finally need a back tire, I'll ask about a 180 and see what they say. At the dealership, I'm sure it'll be that I need $5000 worth of mods to do it.
