Default How to make my 2012 StreetGlide faster & louder?

I need advice. I want to make my 2012 StreetGlide faster & louder. I ride daily. Where do i begin? Is True Dual better than 2 in 1? I was told to go with a Stage 2 kit and some V & H turn downs. What do yall think?

comeon fellas, be nice to the new member.

Welcome to the forum from York Pa.

the stage 1 will give you a good increase for the cost. This typically is an air cleaner, pipes and either an aftermarket ECM or dealer download. With your post, it sounds like you may want to make future mods, if that is the case, I would really look at an aftermarket ECM over the dealer download.

Hope this helps some. Take your time and enjoy the hunt for pipes you like.

It all comes down to how much money you have to spend...Tell us how much and we'll give you some ideas...Just so you know....we have one of the best engine builders and dyno tuners in our area. If you rush into doing something without doing your homework, you will end up spending more then you have to.

By the way, welcome to the forum. Go to the "new member area" and formally introduce yourself...w/pics

Beside someone suggesting to be nice to you as a good first start, I would do the Stage 1 after a few thousand miles so you can a good comparision as to what the stock ride feel vs the Stage 1 feels like.

Troll alert!

That is not a normal persons first post.
A real member might say hello, or tell us about his bike, or maybe even post a picture of it.

Was the first thing out of any of your mouths when you bought first Harley, "How do I make it louder?"

I think not....
