A friend sent me a link for this lil item that is an emergency belt repair. It's much less than the kit H-D sells.

I'm wondering if anyone has one or knows someone that has one and has used it?

It's not designed to get you far but is designed to get you someplace where you can at least have a chance of getting a new belt without having to get towed.

Again, I'm looking for feedback from someone that has 1st hand knowledge or knows someone that has used one.

Donno IA....It got my interest too but I'm reading thru the website and every link to a video has been removed??.....That ain't a good sign!!

 

That was a concern of mine also. I was ready to put down the coin until I saw the vids had been deleted. Then I got to thinking that maybe people were watching the vid and making their own instead of buying them. That is why I'm hoping to hear from people that have them or have used them.

 

I could have used one of those suckers this last summer. Sitting and waiting for a pickup 15 miles from home with no cold beer is the *****.

 

I was under the impression they were no longer trading but I could be wrong.

 

I guess that could explain the vid being gone. I had never heard of them before.

 

This looks like a third party re-seller so maybe they have stock, best idea would be to email them or ring them.

 

I coulda used one of those that day!

 

that would work great if the belt had a clean break.. most times when the belt breaks, it delaminates and shreds for several inches to a foot long. not a bad thing to throw in a tool pouch anyway.
