Default pipes dragging

Ok, got my new Paugcho upswept pipes installed, took it for a ride yesterday and even on a moderate turn to the right the lower pipe is dragging on the ground, now I have scratches on that one pipe. I know too many times like this and there will be a hole there, anyone else have this problem and how did u solve it? Could be any exhaust, doesn't have to be Paugcho...

I've welded grind plates on the shovel every time I wear the pipe [Pythons] thru. Harleys sit low - your gonna scrape if you get even a little agressve in turns.
The stock Heritage scrapes all the time, can't even imagine lowering one of them at all.
Low bikes scrape the ground like randys big fat butt. Can't change physics.
Right hand turns are a light show on this one:

Is your bike lowered at all? If it is, you may need to consider using stock height suspension. Or live with it. Keep in mind, dragging hard parts, if done with enough lean angle can lever the rear wheel out from under the bike for a low side crash.

I made these myself for $45. I don't mind a beat up look. They don't scrape.

I can't imagine leaning into a turn enough to drag a pipe...or anything else. I guess I'm just too worried it'll go out from under me.

Good job! Skid plates are the next best thing.
I drag my floor boards before I drag the pipes unless I'm going over a bump.

I'll be half way through my board and laying on the ground before I drag mine.

Guess that was an afterthought?????

One thing about my "shotguns" I would have to be at an extreme lean angle to drag mine. When my pegs drag I know I'm getting close to my limit.
