Do they chew up your boot sole? I heard the Joker Machine ones do. Also difficult to slide your foot around to get comfortable.

No chewing up of boot soles. Been running them for about 6 months and I ride daily.

When you stop, do they rotate vertical and you have to spin them around horizontal each time like you do with a bicycle?

They can be adjusted to spin freely, adjusted to move only with firm pressure, or locked into any position you want.

I run the dk canyon carvers on mine. Super sweet set of pegs. I put them in between free spinning & tight. They stay where I want them but I can move them with ease. I've also seen a few sets if the burleys they are machined aluminum not a bike peddle like dk's

I just ordered the Stealth Bear Trap set from DK.

I added some quick release pins to the order too. It might be nice to easily change out pegs for different occasions. It also makes it easy to install/remove passenger pegs for those three hours per year my wife my ride along!!

Good choice on the Stealth Bear traps. Very comfortable. I have beat mine to crap already. All scraped up, if you know what I mean.

I just received a PM asking about the Stealth Bear Traps. We are no longer making them.

However, we are making the Bear Trap Pegs which you can see HERE.

Some like them how we ship them, others black-out the silver body with rattle can. It hold up well because the boots rest on the Powder Black Trap portion of the peg.

We also have a variety of other Trap style pegs which can be seen at this LINK.

Here's a photo of a few of them-
