Floorboards with tool storage
Anyone heard of a company producing Lockable floorboards that flip open and you can store some basic tools in? someone told me about it today and I've look all over the internet and can't find anything?

While those are an interesting concept I'd be concerned about the extra weight and stress to the mounting point. If they only mount to a single point there is no way they will last. Two mount points might be okay, but only time will tell.

Now, I think I'll keep my arm and a leg ($$$) and keep my tools right where they are

Toilet paper and a folded up magazine. At our age, sometimes the urge hits when a bathroom isn't convenient.

I wouldn't worry about the extra weight, and it appears to have the same mounting point as standard floor boards. 200+lbs men can stand up on the current mounting point; how much extra weight do you think this 1" deep storage compartment will add?

Thanks for the link hdtwice. great idea but very expensive and I would have shipping costs to England plus tax on top of that! think I'll stick to a £50 tool roll!
