Bell Helmet Custom 500 Cobra Gillies

I just bought a Bell Custom 500 Cobra Gillies. I like the way it looks, and wanted a 3/4 helmet for hot days.

I haven't been able to find the significance of the Cobra, and the name Gillies. Anybody know if there is a historical context to the Cobra, and the name Gillies?

Bitchin lid, I've been on the fence about getting one of those Bells for awhile no. Haven't scene this this style yet, looks good.

I love my 500, but I am finding that for a open face helmet, the top of my head gets awful sweaty.

Yeah, I am a little worried about that. I didn't realize there are no vents. I'll still look good as my head melts!
