Where do you keep your registration/insurance?
Just curious if you keep them on you or on the bike in a bag etc.? I've always kept mine in a bag since i don't want them in my wallet etc.

Personally, I keep them in my wallet. I get my wallets from mightywallet.com. Made from the same material our charts are made out of in the military. Water proof, rip proof, etc. From my buddies, I have seen them keep them in a bag on their person. Usually in a pocket or a vest. Some have even gotten them laminated.

I tried keeping them in my wallet before but they got so jacked up they were unreadable after a while. Maybe laminating is the way to go. I just don't want anyone to go thru my bag and get my address off the reg/ins.

When will the DMV and Insurance Co. think maybe a plastic card like credit cards would be nice .

I don't have a license plate frame with room for the registration sticker so I keep the sticker it in a pouch in my locked saddlebag. I do not carry the registration paper receipt on me or the bike.
As far as my insurance card, I keep that in my wallet. Here in Texas, and I would assume other states as well, if you can't produce your insurance card, the LEO can check if you are (un)insured.

I have too many bikes to keep them all in my wallet. I don't keep them all in my vest, 'cause, although I almost NEVER touch a bike without it, there's always a chance I wouldn't have "ze papers" when the gestapo demanded them.
On the Slim, in a ziplock bag, under the seat, between the ECM and battery. Secure, hidden, easy to access if I have to. I have nowhere else to put it on the bike - no bags.
On the Road King, underneath the liner of the tour pack in a ziplock. Inconspicuous, still readily accessible.
On the Lo and on the Sporty, in a baggie, tucked between the folds of a road map in the fork bag. Not obvious should someone go looking, but still right there.
