Default Clutch Adjustment / Primary Oil Change Interval

For some reason I 'spaced it' on my clutch adjustment...because I changed my primary oil at 10K I thought the clutch adjustment interval would match the oil change interval, since the cover comes off for that. Looking at my shop manual, I now realize clutch adjustment is at 5k (and why a lot of people change primary oil at 5K while they're in there).

Is it likely I've done clutch damage?

All fluids every 5,000 miles.
Clutch adjustment when it needs it. Usually every 20,000 miles or so.

If you have damaged your clutch, you would know it.

Just take the cove off and do it. The seal is good for a couple removals.

PS: It doesn't hurt to do maintenance procedures more often than what the service manual calls for.

i probably should get in that habit. shop manual says 5K engine oil, 10K primary oil, 20K transmission. But staggered oil changes are easy to *** up.

You royally screwed things up. You need to buy a new bike and start over.
