Not to hi-jack this post but does anyone know where I can get a pair of the wrap around with the foam that I can have my eye doctor install my prescription lens into? My regular eyeglasses are super light and cost $300. Hate to lose these on the highway. I emailed to the bestmotorcycleglasses.com web site with this question but haven't got an answer. Yikes! My questionis "Are there any ridingglasses worth more than $50 ?" (except for prescription of course -and maybe those ones that change tint automatically). The thing is, no matter how expensive the glasses, they can still get scratched, dropped, squished or lost just as easily as the cheaper ones.

I like the Maxx foam ones. They're easy to find at bike shows andbike shops, etc. They run about $20 andcome witha nicedrawstring bag.Used to wear riding glasses without the foam, but the plastic frames on the ones I had turned in toward the face to block out wind etc., but after a long ride they would leave an impression in my skin all around my eyes. Looked kind of goofy.

 

Here's another endorsement for Bobster. I have a pair of the Bobster Road Hog II goggles. They come with a strap, bows, 4 sets of lenses, 2 foam frames to snap in, a cleaning cloth, & a case. Bobster has a lifetime warranty & they do back it up. Mine just recently broke. I called the company & they said to ship them back. I sent them out & got a phone call the day that they received my goggles. Bobster sent me a new frame, new foam frame, new strap& new lenses to replace the twosets that I had been using. I couldn't believe it when the new stuff arrived the day after the phone call.

Oh......Bobster offers prescription lenses for these goggles too.

Road Hog II's retail for about $60 but, if you check around you can find them for $30-40.

 

Truck stops and gas stations seem to have the best glasses, never over $20.

I bought a pair of glasses for $75 one time. I turned my head and then watched them hit the pavement in traffic behind me. Since then I have never paid over $20.

 

I use these - Baruffaldi Wind Tini PlusGlasses - they are great with interchangeable clear and dark lens. I bought two pairs and fitted one pair with dark and one pair with clear lens as they were so cheap and good. Heard of / got them by recommendation from my local Stealer.
