Has anyone here installed the Boom Audio speakers? Have you been happy with the final product?

I installed that setup on my girlfriend's Sportster. I was amazed at the output and clarity of the tunes. We connected a small MP3 player to the setup so she can change songs when she wants and to take the unit off the bike at night when we're on trips.
The right control's for the unit are very well thought out and easily accessible with one finger. For a bike without music, this is a quick and decent way to get tunes.
IMHO

I have the windshield speaker on my Fatboy Lo and the handlebar speakers on the wife's Sportster. They sound pretty decent at speeds up to 65-70 mph. Songs with mega bass don't do to well, you'll want to set the bass lower on your mp3 player. Also a good MP3 player will help boost the sound. I tried a little cheapo sandisk player and it's output was very low and did not drive the amp very well. Ipod touch and I phone works great as well as any Cowon MP3 player.
Not the best photos.

Motorcycle audio systems are poor at best. I have yet to hear one that was even adequate. Part of the issue is the physicality and acoustics of the motorcycle itself. The other is that most owners aren't audiophiles.
