maybe so. but after i'm done draining the oil on my bike, i put the caps on it, put it in the back of the truck and drive it to the local oil change place and empty it there. i'd be nervous about driving with a half full cake pan of oil in the back of my truck
Ya know, I had never even thought about using this pan to transport the old oil to the parts store for re-cycling.
