Let the wife kill him.

TheRooster 10-22-2013 02:20 PM

Ditch the bitch, keep the bike. It'll be less trouble throughout its lifetime anyway. Definitely cost less, too.

A $4k loss??? That's pretty steep. She should kill just for throwing that away. Still, if he didn't clear it with her first, he deserves to lose it.

Kowan 10-22-2013 02:52 PM

Maybe he just brought her home from jail and now she knows why he couldn't come up with the bail money? :icon_dopey:

Falcon195 10-22-2013 02:56 PM

I'll give him 8k

The Biscuit 10-22-2013 03:18 PM

story sounds like BS. first he would try to get what he could close to his buy price.. sell price is more the value anyway.. so My opinion there is dishonesty about this bike or the one selling it.. also in such a short time title work couldn't have been completed from his first sale.

fordaith 10-22-2013 03:52 PM

Looks like someone paid too much in the first place!

agove 10-22-2013 03:53 PM

My wife would kill me if I had it for a weeks and tried to sell it for 3500 less than what I paid for it.

SmokinLoon 10-22-2013 04:03 PM

Maybe he had a dream of a Rocket III monster chasing him down? :)

Walter White 10-22-2013 04:47 PM

The wife is making him sell it for a loss after a week. Yeah and a Nigerian Prince will give me millions if I just let him use my checking account.

Blue SOG 10-22-2013 04:53 PM

If I listened to my beautiful wife I'd never have owned a single bike, much less the 10 or 12 bikes I have owned or the 3 I currently own... not to mention the motorcycle shop where her pool was supposed to go. Sometimes a man just needs to hike his britches up and put his foot down. I love you, honey.. we'll remodel that kitchen one of these years, I promise!

LADJ 10-22-2013 04:56 PM

Realistically he doesn't have to sell it....he can tell the wife he's "trying" to but no one wants to buy it.....he can squeeze out a few more rides this winter and next thing you know the wife is over it and has accepted the new addition to the family.

Markymannn 10-22-2013 05:09 PM

CR seller is probably making all that up so as to get some buyer interest in his bike. Not at all a bad strategy. He got a thread here!

And those are the best kind of wives to have! Glad I'm not the only one.

bdtaylor1979 10-22-2013 05:52 PM

Screw that, I aint taking a $3,500 loss. She would have to deal with it.

Tanuki 10-22-2013 08:33 PM

Dunno why people let the wife be the boss and have to do what she says, never could understand that. I decide what is happening in my house hold and if she doesn't like my life then don't be in it, simple as that and I remind her every time she starts bitchin n moaning.

The door is not locked and swings open so use it if you want. I also tell her she aint chained to the floor and can use the door anytime, I am doing what am doing regardless. She has/gets everything she wants so don't bitch at me.

I never bitch n moan when she comes home with a new purchase or wants to travel or do something.

Let the wife boss you around and you're phucked right then and there. No life !

Told me If I buy a bike she'll divorce me, bought my bike she still here, don't listen to them talk crap coz that's all it is.

pastime 10-22-2013 08:49 PM

The listing is complete BS. I'd bet my bridge on it.

Buckinfitch 10-22-2013 08:56 PM

eh...the dude just found out that he lost his health insurance plan and has to go with Obamacare.

logdon17 10-22-2013 09:56 PM

Clearly this he made this story up to make it sound like his asking price is a deal. You have to be retarded not to pick up on that.

Completely agree. The guy is a moron if he didn't talk with the wife about it first. More likely he is brilliant because he is getting all sorts of publicity.

OzarkHarleyguy 10-22-2013 11:09 PM

Bogus; and if it isn't sounds like he is beggin for someone to bail him out of his mess. You just can't fix stupid.

Firewoman 10-23-2013 12:06 AM

I smell BS on that ad. More likely he bought the bike and then decided he didn't really like it so he's blaming the wife. My guess is that he's not even married.

Buckinfitch 10-23-2013 06:38 AM

naw, the OL told him: YOU ASSHOLE !...fairings don't belong on Road Kings, GET RID OF IT !

gotnspikes 10-23-2013 10:07 AM

I'd have been happy to have this guy just hand me $3500 and he wouldn't have had to deal with the time and effort of purchase and sale. Maybe I'll post a craigslist ad, to be a recipient of people who want to throw their cash away. Wonder how I'd make out on that.

tinmarine 10-23-2013 11:08 AM

Complete BS. Look at the pics, those weren't taken in the past couple weeks. I've had leaves dropping for awhile now. Not a single one on the ground anywhere? Nope, those are summer photos there.

Sure, he created an account and has been spending the last 2 weeks trying to get policy information. :icon_laugh:
