If you had a time machine....

And could go back to be sitting in the dealers chair 10 minutes before signing the finance papers or slapping down the cash would you buy the bike you did or knowing what you know now would you buy that same bike or a different model or even from another manufacturer?

I either wouldn't do it at all because I took a big chunk of our savings to buy it OR I would wait until the Breakout came out, since it wasn't available at the time I got mine.

Only buyer's remorse I had was with my Ultra. Found out I wasn't a land barge type of guy, and traded it after a month.

I'd probably go back in time before I clicked on this dumb thread.

I'd be in 1936 buying that $400 EL that just sold in the Vegas auction for $136K

Yep, wish I would have went with a vision which ironically looks like a time machine:icon_cankick:

Always wondered what this country would've been like if Lee had captured the high ground on the evening of July 1st 1863.

I would do exactly the same thing. I lucked out and found a mint 2k bike, that was my favorite color. Still get excited every time I look at it.

If I had a time machine I would have covered my bike this year, when I put it in storage. I usually cover it with the HD cover, but posts on here said that might cause condensation. So I left it uncovered in an unheated storage shed. That -23F snap caused the whole bike to be covered with thick frost. Had to defrost it with a hair dryer. Tonight I have to find my cover.

I researched and planned my purchase and paid cash so the whole process took less than 15 minutes as I called ahead and told him I was coming after we haggled on a price... so no, wouldnt change a thing. Got a 2008 nighttrain with 6k miles and several upgrades for great deal. Haven't regretted a single day.
