Has anyone ever pulled up next to you on one of your old bikes

Or do see it at local watering holes.

Or has anyone ever pulled up next to you on one of your old bikes that was stolen from you? All of my old rides were never seen again after I sold them.

Nope, but I have contemplated buying a bike that I had owned 5 or 6 years prior. It was being advertised in a town 50 miles from me.Decided against it though.

Last week we saw a van that we had donated to the VOA 15 years ago. It was pretty tired with over 200k miles on it when we gave it up... Really surprised to see it on the road still..

I passed my old bike on the road last month. Told the wife about it and she asked if I missed it. I said if I ever miss it, all I have to do is look in the garage and that cures it.

I wouldn't know my panhead if I saw it and it's been since '81 that I had my shovelhead, same story. So no, not a snowball chance in a furnace.

I once seen one of my bikes that was a trade in at the dealer . And the guy turned the odometer back to 8500 Miles . But I sold it at 36000 and he had it at least 2 or 3 yrs.

I sold a bike to a fellow club member so immobile see I periodically. Never bothered me. It went to someone who took care of it and more importantly, enjoyed it

No! But I saw my 58 Simplex in the museum at Anamosa, IA. I bought it new in 1958 and sold it in 1962. It is hard to imagine that the bikes that I owned from 1956 to the 70's qualify as museum pieces.:icon_sad:

It is impossible to see any of the HD's that I have being ridden by anyone else. I have 11 of them from 2000 to 2014. Because of my regrets over selling my bikes over the years, when I retired I have never sold or traded them. I just keep building bigger garages to keep them until I'm gone.

I saw my last bike at the dealer this weekend. Traded it in for a Street Glide Special. I didn't miss it at all.
