Attaching bag to a hd Electra Glide
 

Hi All,

I wanted to ask for some opinions on attaching a back-pack to the luggage tour pak on a hd electra glide. It does not have a luggage rack. Could I just use some bungee cords and maybe a slip resistant mat. Thank you for your time.

I wouldn't but if you don't care about the paint on the tour pak, I don't see why not. if you do care, why not buy and install (or have someone install) a luggage rack?

You could do anything you want, it's up to you to decide if it will hold securely and not damage the tourpack finish. I agree with the suggestion to consider a rack.

I would not do that, will scatch the paint for sure. All the vibration and wind will move it around for sure.

Sure you can. Some type of mat to protect the paint would work. It's your bike. But I wouldn't do it to my bike.
