I am looking into getting slip on exhausts for my 2012 Harley Heritage Softail Classic.

I searched the Forum and it looks like Rush Slip On exhausts are well-liked by many members. I am trying to decide if I should get Rush 3" Slash Down (1.75" baffles) or Bassani 3" Firepower (2" baffles) Slip Ons. It seems like not too many riders have much experience with the Bassanis (maybe that says something).

So, does anyone have a good reason that I should go with Bassani instead of the Rush Slip ons?

No reason to buy slip ons when you can get a rush full system for $269.99 shipped. Love mine.

 

I haven't heard the bassani mufflers but really like my rush mufflers with the 1.75 baffles.

 

Both brands are good. I had Rush slip-ons with 1.75" baffles on my Sporty. The finish and sound were both great. Now, I have Bassani Fire Flights (full system) on my Softail and the sound it great.

I have a feeling the Bassani mufflers will be louder than Rush.

 

No need to buy full system on Heritage. Cats are eliminated with slip ons and they sound great.

good sound not too loud but loud enough
