HD Front Brake Master Cylinder

What is the difference in a front brake master cylinder for a single disc and a master cylinder for dual discs?:icon_patriot:

The piston/bore on the dual disk master cylinder is a little larger, providing more fluid being pushed... ;)

This^. "Some" singles are 9/16 bore whereas "some" duals have 11/16.

OK-- "some" master cylinders have 11/16 bore---
I was told that some master cylinders are for ABS systems only---how are these different?

Bottom line----I am looking for a master cylinder for a project.
The project will have dual discs--
if I go to a swap meet, how can I tell which front master cylinder will work for my project?

Thanks to all---

Ride safe---lots of idiots out there.

Im no help re ABS.

Id just find the part number and then research the web for a rebuild kit which should give you the bore spec.

I recently got a dual disc master for a cafe bike at 5/8 which came packaged as 15mm
