Bit of advice? I wore various skull cap helmets for decades. Did not realise how ill fitting and problematic they all were till I got a helmet that actually fit right, a Bell Pit Boss. Every one of the skull caps rode up on the head, caught wind or was just off in some manner. Took the Bell for me to see that. I've gone for rides and forgot to clip the thing, it never rides up on the head and no wind buffeting unlike all the little one's did.

I had these guys redo the entire inside of the helmet I have been wearing for over 30 years, like new when done and fit perfectly. They also sell new helmets, worth a look:

I just bought a Badass Helmets beanie (Supersonic), and it's the best craftsmanship I've ever seen is a low-profile beanie. Very well-made. It wasn't cheap; $230. Very highly-regarded with people I've asked.

I never wore a helmet, or at the very least wore a beanie skull helmet I've had for 30 yrs.
Then I realized how great a FF helmet is. Bell Bullitt for me. If you ride around town a beanie helmet is fine. If you're putting in 600 mile days, well, I never realized how tired wind whipping your eyes and face for hundreds of miles at fast speeds. Now I get off not feeling wind burnt and beat.
On top of that, no helmet riding in hard rain can blind you. FF helmet in a hard rain it beads off the shield and you keep trucking.
Been there done it all. No helmet in all weather, beanie helmet in all weather, FF helmet in all weather can't be beat.

Currently wearing a Badass Barebones. Tried a bunch of DOT half helmets and the Barebones was the best fit by far. Seems like a quality helmet and built well. Did contact their customer service once just to ask a question and the girl was less then helpful. Other than that, great product. Used to wear novelty helmets but getting older and a little smarter. I think? Lol. Good luck.
