Dude, that's awesome.
Hand stitching isn't really hard, its just time consuming. I use a tool to mark a straight line where I want the stitch line. I then use a stitching chisel and a poly headed mallet to punch the holes, then the long process of doing the actual saddle stitch. You have to be consistent while stitching but thankfully there are people out there that put awesome tutorials on YouTube teaching you how. I pretty much learned all my stitching from this guy,
