Dealer setup of 2014 Low Rider
Did you find your handlbar and riser bolts severly under torqued when you did the 1000k maintenance? Does the dealer mechanic torque these bolts when setting up the bike? I found all mine severly under torqued when I checked these bolts at 2K. Or did they just loosen due to riding/vibration?
Thx

Bars are put on at the factory. Dealer setup usually just includes adding fluids and any aftermarket parts they add for the customer. 1000 mile maintenance is basically to change the fluids out to get rid of the debris caused by wear in.
Your bike might have been improperly torqued at the factory or by a previous owner. If you think you have a vibration issue make sure you're using Loctite on the bolts.

A big part of the 1st service is checking the torque on critical fasteners. 9 out of 10 bikes that we do a 1st service on have loose handlebar clamp bolts, loose switch housings and loose clutch and brake lever perches. Other common loose items are brake calipers, shock mounts and triple clamp bolts...
