Didn't ride it at all with it in, but did hook it up to bike and powered it up. Would it have caused any issues with my ECM in anyway?? My **** won't start now after doing this and thinking I need to reset or clear the ECM. Or??? Anyone to help??

Bike is an 02 Softail Deuce

Hey monkey, good timing...maybe You might try here. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...crewed-up.html

Focus on post#6

It worked for him. He was changing the ECM, but it does say...
"Once you remove a component from this chain the module shuts down and won’t start."

What's up man, thanks for these.
I found the info last night and was going to try it this morning
Pisses me off, like why didn't this happen when it was pouring outside and I didn't care.
Now it's 75 degrees outside and my bike is in tee garage!!
Just had the 95 kit installed with SE 204 cams, ready to roll....NOT!
Thanks for response though
How are you man?

I looked enough to know that you're going to need to hold your tongue out to the left while following the steps

Oh yeah...you might want to do this while your head is clear

I'm questioning if I even have to go through all this.
I know many have swapped out the speedometer on their bike, and would think some wouldn't of having to go through these steps....

OK

I "hear" ya brother...just wanted to make you aware.

Personally, if it happened to me...it would have been my "First Rodeo"
