16 SG won't start unless in Neutral
 

Bike started this yesterday....Clutch in and nothing, place in Neutral and it'll fire up.

Bad switch pack or Neutral switch??

I'll bet on switch pack. Others have had the same problem. Do a search for bad switch packs.

I would think sir that this being a 16 , the dealer ( any H.D ) should be either answering your Questions or sorting the issue out being under Warranty , but a good question and will be looking for your resolve being that I am a 16 S.G. as well.

+1 on the switch pack. My 15 Ultra did the same thing and dealer replaced the switch pack. When mine went out I noticed the gear indicator didn't work either.

It was the switch pack, dealer replaced under warranty.
Took them about 45mins... Sales goons wanted me to trade it in....lol

right, get bent over on the trade in, roll it all into a new loan. Never stop making payments, etc :icon_frown:

Now a days you cant even walk in to look around without being attacked
