Just installed my LJ Mighty Mights on my '08 FLHX last night. Install went smoothly. It was harder to find the accessory plug under the seat than the fan install. Only thing is I removed the bracket bolted to the cylinder heads which made the install super easy and removing the bracket was never mentioned in the instructions. If you can remove the bracket I highly recommend it.

 

Share some pics of your install. When you say you removed the bracket, what mount did you use for the fan i.e. frame mount? Not sure about wiring on a FLHX so take a pic of the accessory plug/wires under your seat that you used on your install just so others can identify which to tap.

And why would you assume that?....this thread is to help others who pulled the trigger on the LJ MM cooling fan. I bought one on the first ship and love them....and yes, I am an advocate of the fan. I receive no compensation as a result of this thread.....but I wish I did.
