Love Jugs New Mighty-Mite Cooling Fan - Share Your Install!
I am waiting for my chrome LJ Mighty-Mites from Hammerhead Engineering. My cooling fan should have been shipped this week so probably will be installed next week. Will share my install and how well it works (I have a PowerVision Tuner that can monitor engine temp).
LJ will be shipping these fans for delivery sometime in March so I do not expect any replies until mid to late march or even early April. I created this thread so others can share results of their install i.e. how is it working for you, how/where did you tap into your electrical, what kind of vibration damper are you using if any?
Please, this thread is for those who pulled the trigger and purchased the LJ Mighty-Mite....this thread is NOT to trash either Wards or LJ as this topic has already been played out. Thank you.

Just an update from Steve on shipping of the LJ Mighty-Mite:
We had a little weather problems in New England this past week which pushed us back a couple of days. Add Daytona and lots of orders for MMs and Cool-Masters and we're doing pretty well with our shipments. Our promise was to get all shipments out during the 2nd and 3rd week of March. Even with the challenges we believe that all orders will be shipped out by 2 day priority this week. You'll get notice from the USPS the moment your order is shipped. We thank you for your patience.

Just installed the Love Jugs Mighty-Mite Cooling Fan today. Used the dampening system provided with the unit but modified/customized the bracket to provide a more secure hold. Did not use the vibration master.
Tapped into the accessory wiring under the seat
Used the in-line fuse provided with the unit
Modified/customized the mounting bracket
Works great. Where I normally hit 410+ in stop and go traffic, today it stayed between 360-380....this is my normal cruising temp when there is no traffic. The fan was surprisingly very light but provided high-velosity air flow. Can't hear the fan while the engine is running so difficult to tell whether its on or off.
Update 3/28: This morning to work, I normally run 360-380 in light traffic....with the fan, was running 330-350/360
Update 3/29: A traffic jam today, feathering in first for miles. I have my PV set to turn red when it hits 420. I would have definitely hit that temp and more without the cooling fan but highest temp I hit with the fan was 385...very cool!
