What's in your tool roll?
 

Gday,
As the heading asks; what tools, sizes and random bits are in your tool roll? I own a 2014 street glide and am in Australia so sometimes the imperial measurements used on some of the bolts etc can throw me out from time to time. Send away and any help would be great.

I have searched this very questions but not gotten a very good response, it seems like the bagger guys carry enough tools to do a complete rebuild. And the non bagger guys carry a spark plug wrench( many have no spare plugs ) and a small roll of duct tape. I'm not sure on the newer bikes how much you could really fix road side. I'm returning to ridding so I'm going to carry a few tools what I can get in my fork bag. SP wrench, spare plugs, screw driver both,small pair channel locks,a few open end wrenches. And a tire plug kit with portable air.

You'll get some good tips here. Grab a beer and a stool and stare! This k about what you may need to fix or adjust on the road and start applying wrenches. Some goes bits for controls, 10mm for battery terminal, 7\16 thru 9\16. Axle and adjuster sizes ( sorry not sure on sizes). I got so excited tool bags from eglide that fit in bottom of bags...Stash everything there. Oh yeah...Wrap some electrical tape around the 10mm wrench so you don't have to worry about touching metal around battery.

Mine's full of mini booze bottles & condoms...;) :D

JK, I have a bagger so one side's pretty stocked w/necessities.

Just a cell phone. AAA can take me home or to a shop to get whatever fixed.

I carry a variety of torx, Allen wrenches, sockets, combination wrenches, voltmeter, stop and go tire plug kit with air compressor, Anti gravity jump starter, zip ties, tape, tie wire, fuses, dielectric grease and a few other things that don't come to mind right now ✌️

rolling papers, my one hitter, mini booze bottles, condoms, cold cup, a glass for cocktails, bottle opener and my cell phone. you are not going to fix much on these new bikes on the side of the road, but who's to say waiting for a truck has to be boring ?

Now here one I can believe not fixing much on a newer bike. And a few comforts from home can't hurt.

A pair of binoculars, some hand lotion and a tube sock.
